Butler has awoken basketball fever in Indiana once again.

I haven’t seen anything like this since I was little. And basketball fever hasn’t been like this in Connersville, Indiana for a very long time. And Connersville has always been a basketball town. But this is unreal. Everyone is so proud of Matt and the Bulldogs.

If any of you have seen the movie Hoosiers, basketball hasn’t been the same in the state for 15 or more years. If you’ve never been here this is probably how you see us. But basketball has slowly not been as exciting. Until now! Coach Stevens and the Bulldogs have made Indiana a Basketball Nation once again.

We are all so proud. Even if you come home empty handed once again. We are still proud to be Hoosiers. But even more so to be, Butler Bulldogs.
